About Your Instructor
Patrick James
Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, Patrick James grew up in a family that valued honesty, integrity, and hard work. Throughout his childhood life lessons and experiences shaped him, from playing professional soccer in Brazil to working at a gold mine in remote Alaska.
Patrick learned to fail forward and to not give up when life gets tough. Patrick graduated from the University of South Florida (Tampa, FL) with a degree in Finance and International Business. While attending USF, Patrick worked in property management as a top leasing agent and lead sales teams. This introduction into the housing industry lead into a position as General Manager at a new State-of-the-Art Self Storage Facility back in his hometown of Anchorage. This was another great experience with leading a team, working in the development side of commercial real estate, and creating relationships which then lead into a career as a Realtor. A licensed Realtor since 2006, Patrick quickly excelled to being a top single agent and then to owning/operating a high performing real estate team at Keller Williams Realty Alaska Group. Even during the Great Recession, Patrick and his team achieved great success because of coaching, networking relationships, grit, and a strategic approach.
